Additional Misc. Information
I believe cognitive understanding is vital to trusting Jesus Christ for salvation from satan, sin, death, and hell (Matt 13:19, Lk 24:45). People come to this trusting Jesus place from different cultures, backgrounds, and systems of thought. I enjoy engaging people cross-culturally, and cross-philosophically.
I believe we get to the heart of a person through the mind. Therefore 1. A person must cognitively understand the truth being communicated. 2. They must affectively feel and internalize the truth. 3. This affection will lead to a right outward response to the truth.
I believe in a multi-disciplinary approach to training disciples of Jesus; relationship, scripture, theology, philosophy, worldview, apologetics, counseling.
I believe everything Jesus taught is true.
I love Jesus. Pauline theology. Luke-Acts.
I hope to have the NT memorized before I turn 30.
I really believe the church, empowered by the Spirit, in proclaiming Jesus the Son as Lord, is the agent of God to bring eternal restoration to humanity.
